How The Store Check handles information from this website and its contact form.
Who operates this site
The Store Check is a business name operated by Matthew Offen, sole trader, based in Sydney, Australia. Contact: matthew.offen1@gmail.com, 0466 300 210, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (Australia/Sydney).
What the contact form collects
When you submit the enquiry form, you provide your name, email address, an optional phone number, an optional store URL, the service you are interested in, a short description of your problem, and your confirmation that the enquiry contains no passwords or sensitive records. The form also records the brand name (The Store Check), the stable brand ID, the first landing page and the page that led to the enquiry. Campaign source, medium and campaign labels are included when present. Optional platform, monthly-order range and deadline fields help scope your enquiry. A hidden anti-spam field is included; it should be left empty and is not shown to you.
Please do not include passwords, API keys, payment details or customer records in an enquiry. If an engagement proceeds, access to systems is arranged separately and securely.
Who processes the form
Until online submission is configured, the form prepares an email draft in your browser. Nothing is sent until you open your email app and send it yourself. If Formspree is enabled, submitted enquiries are processed by that hosted service and forwarded to Matthew's email inbox. Review Formspree's privacy policy for its processing and retention arrangements.
Hosting and analytics
This site is hosted on Cloudflare's network. Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. If enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics is used to count page views; it is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track individual visitors across sites. This site does not use advertising trackers or set marketing cookies. The scorecard tool runs entirely in your browser and does not transmit your answers unless you choose to send them through the contact form.
Temporary browser storage
Session storage keeps the first landing page and campaign labels for this site in the current browser session. It also carries scorecard results to the contact form when you request a copy. These values are not sent to a tracking service; they are included in the enquiry only if you choose to send it. The site still works when storage is unavailable.
How enquiries are kept
Enquiries arrive by email and are recorded in a private lead register (a spreadsheet kept by Matthew Offen) with the service requested, how you found the site, and the outcome, so follow-ups are handled and capacity can be planned. Enquiry emails and register entries are kept while the matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records, then deleted. You can ask for your entry to be deleted at any time.
No marketing without consent
Your enquiry is used to respond to you about that enquiry. You will not be added to a mailing list or sent marketing because you contacted The Store Check. If you ask for a copy of your scorecard results, that copy is sent manually and is not a marketing sign-up.
Access and correction
To access, correct or delete information you have provided, email matthew.offen1@gmail.com or call 0466 300 210. Requests are handled within a reasonable time, normally within one business day for an initial response. If you are not satisfied with how a request is handled, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
